It's ok to be here when things aren't ok.

It's ok to make space for the parts of yourself

that hurt and feel lonely

To be with the anxiety, sadness, fears or doubts

without have to change them, fix them or figure them out. 

For these are part of your sacred wholeness 

They are universal ingredients for the recipe of human experience.

They are divine mirrors of contrast 

Shadows that highlight the light

and gateways to wisdom. 

 

The cacao tastes bitter without the sugar 

But together the chocolate is divine. 

 

You are divine my sweet friend

Every part of you

The bitter and the sweet. 

 

It's ok to witness the bitter parts of your life 

And know there is nothing wrong with you. 

It's ok to witness the bitter parts of the world

And know it is still beautiful. 

 

It's ok to make space for all the parts of yourself 

and all the stages of your life. 

Breathe in acceptance 

Breathe out compassion

Breathe in forgiveness 

Breathe out love

Breathe into your wholeness
